Belgians vs. the Dutch + Becoming Irish

Cross-post from Born Without Borders
I might start season 2 of the Born Without Borders Podcast. Now that I have over 1000 subscribers, I am curious to see if people enjoy the podcast and want more. For those who have been here from the beginning, please be aware that I’ll repost and curate a few older posts over the next month or two because I no longer have the savings (and therefore time) to research and write weekly edited material. There will also be some new material, but please bear with me as I save up and figure out how to sustain Born Without Borders financially. If you’re enjoying this reader-supported guide to the craft of nonconformity, cultural psychology, travel writing and how to salir de las fronteras que impone tu ment, please consider becoming a paid subscriber. -

Don't confuse Belgians and the Dutch. Rosie Van Den Broek (Principal Customer Success Manager at HubSpot) and Nolan Yuma discuss cultural and psychological differences and how they affect business and travel. Rosie also talks about her experience moving to Ireland and why she had to change her name. Nolan and Yuma also touch on identity, politics, the king of Belgium, blackface, and why beer keeps people from becoming separatists.
