I ended up writing this poem down here because I didn’t know the live video would automatically publish. I thought it saved in drafts. Anyway, here’s the text.
I already found my way into heaven.
Grabbed the priest and sucked out the venom.
Only to spit it out onto the persuasive page.
Rearranging the words and changing the face.
Laced the drink the innocuous defy.
Cries of immortality from the chased child.
The consciousness, a collected premonition.
Took my fragmented thoughts; post-modernist vision.
Listen to the perennial wisdom.
Hang the leaders and take over your kingdom.
Put their bodies on display and let them fade into the stardust that is us.
By the way, here are some of the ways I’m trying to make money and what triggered me to return to the moleskin notebook and record the live video. I was going to publish this next week, but I thought I’d include it here to be fully transparent and see how you all react.
Let me know how you all feel about it compared to my poetry. It’s as though my soul yearns to live in a different world in my poetry, but we live in a world where we gotta make money, and I’m trying to find strategies together with AI and friends while staying true to my values.
