Politicians are not leaders. Where do we find people making a difference? They sure don’t work in powerful government positions. They’re your neighbours. No matter the political affiliation, religion, gender, or ethnicity, in times of devastation, the people come together while the politicians cower.
After volunteering to aid in the devastating aftermath of DANA (Depresión Aislada en Niveles Altos) in Paiporta, Valencia, I saw how their government abandoned the people.
