Since four months ago that i've started learning German, i've used AI (Microsoft Copilot) more frequently than before, but only when i don't have much time for doing my homeworks. About usig AI, I'm in league with those who believe that humans must control AI, not the other way around.

I also use it for language-learning purposes, both as a teacher and for myself.

Yeah, it's great for language-learning purposes. I haven't worked with ChatGPT, but you have to chat with Microsoft Copilot a lot.

Wonderful.

Left a dystopian confusion about who wrote it but a belief that it was you!

amazing read, thank you, Nolan

lol on "you sound like an idiot with your best friend", I'm definitely a perennial idiot.

listen, so who said first"kill your darlings"? I thought it's from Mona Awad's "Bunny"?

Ah, and I yesterday asked ChatGPT something for the first time...in the middle I called him "boring" and he deleted it because I apparenly violated some rules...in short, it was entertaining, and something wildly familiar..and I thought suddenly: "Can it be that many people write so samey because they actually use it?" It can't be, right?

Thank you! It deleted the word ‘boring’? That's strange. Oh well, I think experimenting with AI is interesting if done with caution, reflection, and distance. Maybe it’s best to avoid it altogether, but I want to be aware of how it influences behaviour and society.
