This is a super 'about' page and (whisper it quietly), your use of video is spot on too. It has even made me consider adding one to my own start here page, an idea which feels like unexplored, dangerous territory at this point, perfect for a brief side quest! Thanks for this!
Thank you, Alex! I for one would love to see an introductory video of you. I've been following you for a while and have no idea what you sound like, so putting a voice to a writers voice is always interesting. I like seeing how much the voice in my head matches up.
I agree, it's really interesting connecting a voice to a face, or just a voice to words we read. I am one of those people who really doesn't like the sound of my own recorded voice, but I also like to step outside my comfort zone from time to time, so this seems a wise opportunity.
Once upon a time, I had an idea for an introductory video on another site, featuring me in all the different facets of my life, perhaps cutting from sitting at the computer to being in the woods lighting a fire with sticks, then to sitting in a departure lounge in an airport, before moving to me in the gym, for example, all scripted so editing would be fun. The temptation to revisit this idea is very strong right now! However, I might also just record something quick and change it later!
Beautiful! I consider myself a complete cultural misfit and do not fit within any geo-political borders! The world is BIG. I look forward to reading more of your words on how we can help make it "smaller" or at least curb the fear that keeps people stuck within their self-defined boundaries.
... wherever we’re born, whatever passport we carry, all of us are inescapably foreign ... it's the human condition, born alone, looking for connection, seeking home ... I look forward to more
Thanks, Jacob! Which font are you referring to? The one in my logo with Nolan Yuma in the circle with a plane? Or the one at the top of the page with a plane and then Born Without Borders?

The scenes you describe are exactly what I would show to represent myself. You're in my head, Alex!! And you should definitely make that video.
Haha! And yes, I think I might!
A wonderful aim for your newsletter. Bravo.
Fantastic! Bravo!!

I'm glad this resonates with you and to have you as part of the community. We'll have lots to explore.

And many of us never find a place we can call home.
Do you ever feel like each chapter of your life has a different home? Like different parts of yourself belong in different places?
Yes. Whenever I lived in a place, it felt like it was the only place I could think about, and the US was a long way off and well over the horizon
how you get that great font, dude? Share.
