Who I am, what I do, and why I built Born Without Borders — for people living between languages, systems, and identities.

I’m Nolan — a man of no land.

Writer, English teacher, cultural consultant, absolute fitness freak, guiri, actor, older brother, ocean lover, irritable cabrón, and a third culture kid obsessed with cultural psychology — but mostly, I’m inescapably foreign.

Born in Santiago de Chile. Took my first steps in Antwerp. Raised in British Columbia. And the moment I felt a deep sense of home in Vancouver, Canada, I ended up in Spain.

I created Born Without Borders for people who, like me, live between systems, identities, and languages. If you’ve ever felt like a linguistic misfit, a cultural outsider, or a bureaucratic punching bag, you’re in the right place.

Here’s what I do:

I coach.
